Phoenix International, A John Deere Company makes reliable and rugged electronics that meet intense quality requirements. The Phoenix Modular Gateway product is a WinCE based box that lives up to the company's reputation. After working with this product, LHPT engineers have found it to be a reliable workhorse that can handle the most demanding CAN based telematics applications.

STW is a well know German company that makes rugged and reliable controller systems for the heavy equipment market. The STW ESX-TC3 telematics hardware is a unique and powerful device that has an option for internal antennas.

ESX-TC3 features:

LHPT has ported all the features and functionality of the LHPT Embedded Application to the ESX-TC3.

Quake Global has built a reputation for quality and reliability as the leading provider of modems to the Orbcomm satellite industry. LHPT engineers have worked with numerous Quake modems as part of telematics units in the past and now we have the please of working with the first full packaged telematics unit that Quake has released. The Q-Pro is a rugged unit that is fully programmable. The dual mode options for cellular/Orbcomm and cellular/Iridium truly set it apart in the market as one of the only satellite agnostic solutions available.

LHPT has a subset of the LHPT Embedded Application ported to the Q-Pro solution and can create custom solutions using the platform.

The Trimble TM3000 telematics unit is a low cost unit that offers an open programming environment.

Features of the TM3000:
  • ARM7 based solution utilizing the eCos embedded OS
  • CAN Bus enabled

LHPT engineers have utilized the TM3000 to create low cost track and trace solutions along with processing some minimal CAN traffic.
